Position Description
Position Duties
- Operates various auxiliary components of the laser printing system.
- Operators log completed work assignments and makes management aware of any print issues.
- Monitors arrivals of print jobs and prioritizes print jobs.
- Performs various test runs.
- Responsible for the climate control area, keeping the climate control room in a tour ready state.
- Identifies priority jobs and expedites to quality control.
- Reports any unsafe practices to management.
- Performs housekeeping in the print area, and cleaning the various components of the laser printing system.
- Performs under general supervision.
- Determines machine settings that maintain quality and meets productivity expectations.
- Requests technical assistance as needed.
- Shift: 11:30pm - 8:00am
- Work Schedule: Thursday - Monday
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to lift 60lbs from the floor to the overhead position and stand 95% of the shift.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be quality and detailed oriented.
- Ability to prioritize print jobs.
- Ability to follow all safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work overtime on occasion.
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment/post offer drug screen and background check.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
